Texas in winter sounds just like England in winter. Sub-zero temperatures (thats zero Centigrade), ice and snow. And all the near freezing rain - months of it. It makes me cold just thinking about it. The slippery roads and all the bends - very dangerous.
And the worst thing is the salt. Salt is put on the roads to stop the ice freezing and keep the roads clear. The salt makes bikes rust. Nasty.
The Savage doesn't get used much in winter. I've got an old Honda 250 single and a small Italian car for that.
